  • With over 20 years of teaching experience at Catholic High School (Primary), Ms Yeo is a seasoned expert in Chinese Language education. Specialising in Primary Chinese and Higher Chinese, she possesses an in-depth understanding of the MOE Chinese Language curriculum and proven strategies to help students excel. As a seasoned PSLE marker with extensive marking experience, she also brings a strong understanding of national examination expectations and assessment standards. As a proficient bilingual educator, Ms Yeo delivers lessons with clarity and purpose, making learning both accessible and engaging. Her nurturing approach creates a supportive and encouraging environment where students build confidence and develop a genuine love for the Chinese language. Under Ms Yeo’s guidance, Chinese transforms from a challenging subject into an exciting journey of mastery.   • With over 20 years of experience in teaching Chinese Language in MOE schools, during which he served as the Head of Department (HOD) for Mother Tongue Languages, Mr. Lim is a seasoned educator well versed in the requirements and demands of the MOE Singapore Chinese Language Curriculum. Mr Lim is also an experienced Key Personnel PSLE Marker for the national examinations. As part of this role, he contributes to the national examination marking process, including establishing a common understanding of the mark scheme and ensuring its accurate and consistent application across the marking team. This experience has given him valuable insight into national examination assessment standards and the expectations of national examination marking. Drawing on his experience, Mr Lim is known for his ability to tailor his teaching style to meet the needs of the individual student. He is also adept at drawing out the best in each student through his ability to quickly and effectively establish a positive relationship with his student. Years of experience working closely with numerous students has equipped him with the skills and competency to engage students of various ages, profiles and learning needs. Mr. Lim holds a Master’s degree in Educational Management and a Diploma in Chinese Language Education from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). In 2023, he also received the MOE Service Excellence Award (Gold) for his dedication to providing high-quality service to students, parents, and other stakeholders. At SCFY The Chinese Academy, Mr. Lim is committed to provide engaging and effective learning experiences that empower students in their mastery of the Chinese language.

  • With over 20 years of experience teaching Chinese Language in MOE schools, Ms Goh is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in both teaching and assessment. She has also served as an SEAB Key Personnel marker, bringing with her extensive national examination marking experience and a strong understanding of assessment expectations and standards. Known for adapting her lessons to suit each student’s unique learning needs, Ms Goh believes that every learner is different, and she tailors her teaching methods to ensure meaningful and effective learning experiences. She fosters an encouraging environment where students feel confident and motivated to master the language. Using interactive and personalised techniques, she engages learners of all backgrounds, making lessons dynamic and purposeful. Through structured yet flexible instruction, she empowers students to build strong foundations and develop a love for the Chinese Language. Ms Goh is passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential. Her thoughtful, results-driven approach enables students to thrive, making her an invaluable mentor in their language-learning journey.
